Commitment
With your application you agree to commit to Ars Iruis Vienna in the following ways:

• Completion of the FÖP (Faculty Public Presentation) within 12 months of graduation
• Participation in the Ars Iuris Methodology Course ('Ars Iuris Methodenlehre') (only for doctoral
students that have not completed their methodological courses)
• Participation in at least one Jour Fixe per year
• Participation in at least one Socratics Seminar per year
• 1 text contribution at a Socratics Seminar (in the course of your doctoral studies)
• Participation in one Transferable Skills Workshop per year
• Subsription to the VLR Vienna Law Review

Alternatively or optionally, the following voluntary commitments may replace one of the above mentioned obligatory commitments :

• Editorial Board Member of the VLR
• Submission of an article to the VLR
• Co-organization of the Jour Fixes
• PR activities for the Ars Iuris Vienna

You are of course invited to get involved in Ars Iuris Vienna beyond the above mentioned obligatory and voluntary commitments!

Additionally, the Code of Good Practice for doctoral schools is obligatory for any Ars Iuris Fellow (https://arsiuris.univie.ac.at/ueber-uns/code-of-good-practice/).

Please note that the Ars Iuris Team reserves itself the right to exclude doctoral students from Ars Iuris who disregard their commitment.
