In 2024, over half of the world's population will live in countries with nationwide elections. This exposes clear lines of social conflict, with public narratives portraying a deeply divided society where fragmented groups struggle to communicate and some even reject the democratic system.
Amid this conflict, important questions arise about the relationship between law and politics. Does the legal system rely on social consensus, or is it a source of polarization? Can it help mediate and counteract these divisions? These issues will be explored at the 2nd Ars Iuris Legal Potentials Conference.
